February 17 was Kindness Day. This day has been declared the day on which you are extra friendly to people around you. We should actually introduce that 365 days a year, right?! Here's another big inspiration boost for Random Acts of Kindness. These are 5 things you can use to make someone else smile. This is part 2 and here you will find part 1 with 5 more friendly ideas .
Idea 1 – “How are you?”
Idea 2 - Care & share
Happiness is one of the few things that multiplies by sharing it. You probably have great products at home that you can use to make someone else very happy . For example, your favorite Mango body butter , that stack of 1000 piece puzzles, volumes of Flow magazine... or a well-filled pan with homemade soup. Grab a cheerful container, bag or package and put half of your product in it. You can give that as a nice gift to someone else! Just because.
Idea 3 - Do it yourself!
(Almost) nothing more fun to give than beautiful homemade gifts. The idea that someone has made something especially for you is of course extra special. For example, knit a beautiful sweater for someone else , make a beautiful bracelet or embroider a pillow yourself. On our DIY page you will find plenty of beautiful products to get started with.
Idea 4 - Help someone else
You must have a great talent that will also be useful to others. For example, are you very good with numbers? Can you write lyrics like the best? Or are you a hero at doing odd jobs around the house? Look at what you like to do and offer your help in that area to someone else. For example, offer to help a family member with the administration , hang a lamp at your neighbor's house or help a friend with her website or blog. A small effort for you, a very nice result for someone else.
Idea 5 - Give a smile
The most beautiful gift you can give someone else is and remains a sincere smile. Smile on the street at the people walking by , smile (from behind your face mask) at the bus driver or supermarket employee, and give a sincere smile to your partner or child. Because the great thing is that a smile also immediately gives you a free gift in return: an even bigger smile from the other person. You can send a smile with this Pink smiley balloon via Greetz .
