Personally, I have many fond memories of soup. Cozy tomato soup with balls at my parents' place on Monday afternoon, my grandmother's comforting (salt-free) vegetable soup for the flu, my grandmother's barszcz (Polish sweet beetroot soup) and the time we made chicken soup ourselves with friends in the Ardennes during a heavy thunderstorm. Oh yes, and don't forget the hot shit after that one ice-cold New Year's dive at Scheveningen...
For sure: beautiful moments are made for soup! Joris Bijdendijk and Samuel Levie must have thought that too when they launched their own canned snert in the desolate year of 2020: a delicious pea soup with good sausage. They linked an action for the Food Bank to it and the whole of the Netherlands slowly turned bright pink and yellow. Soup cans popped up everywhere. Inspirational soup stories soon followed from all sides.

COOL! For every book sold via Snertsoup.com , a SNERT soup can is donated to the Food Bank.
