Scrolling through Instagram you might find something! This Crema di Caffé for example. You can make it very easily with an empty soda bottle. How fun is that?! So, aren't you going to Italy this summer? Then bring Italy into your home :)
Crema di Caffe
Crema di Caffé is a delicious Italian coffee specialty from Italy, especially popular in the summer. It is a creamy, semi-frozen coffee drink made from espresso, sugar and whipped cream. These ingredients are mixed together to form a light, frothy substance that resembles a smooth iced coffee. Crema di Caffé is often served in small glasses and is perfect as a refreshing dessert on hot days. It offers a perfect balance between the intense flavor of espresso and the smoothness of whipped cream, making it a beloved treat for coffee lovers. Here is the nice and easy recipe for you.
Ingredients
- 1 cold expresso
- 2 teaspoons icing sugar
- 250 ml whipped cream
- pinch of cocoa powder
- 1 empty plastic bottle (0.5 liter)
Preparation
- Make sure the expresso and whipped cream are both very cold before you start. When the coffee is hot, the cream will curdle, and you are supposed to Eat/drink Crema di Caffé as cold as possible.
- Stir the icing sugar into the expresso.
- Then put the expresso and whipped cream in the bottle and close it tightly with the cap (!).
- Then: shake until you hear that the contents no longer really 'slosh' but become a thicker substance.
- And finished! Serve in a nice glass and top with a little cocoa powder. Enjoy!
