Feel good recipe: mini croissants cereal

  • 2 min read

Mini croissants, that idea alone... Not keto at all, but what a happy Sunday breakfast these tiny croissants! Mini croissant cereal is Petitchef's invention (of the century) and we can't wait to try it out.

Feel good recipe: mini croissants cereal

Below is the recipe and video. You can find the original recipe here Petitchef where you will find many more super nice recipes. It is quite a job claying all those croissants, but it will certainly make you very zen. And something made with so much love and attention, it can hardly go wrong. Surprise your sweetheart or just enjoy yourself with this best breakfast ever. Because you can and not because it happens to be Valentine's Day. Have fun!

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet or as much puff pastry as you want to make croissants
  • powdered sugar

Preparation method

Step 1 - Make sure the puff pastry is very cold, but flexible when working with it. Not frozen.

Step 2 - cut the dough into strips of 5 cm, which you then make into small triangles

Step 3 - roll each triangle from base to tip. Add some water to it dot to die to stick well.

Step 4 - Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Step 5 - Leave in the fridge for 5-10 min before baking. Then bake for 12 minutes at 200°C. Stay tuned and check in between!

Step 6 - let the minis cool down and serve in a bowl with cold milk

Leuk werkje voor de zondagochtend. Bakje havermout met melk is sneller klaar en ook lekker met als topping kaneel en honing van Gerrit Spaans. Daar liep ik gisteren de 15k trail op! Energie!!!
