Be honest, are you also that 'cooked'? Are you - just a week into the new year - ready for endless nothing. How about this: peace, quiet, a balmy breeze, hammock, toes in a (warmed) sea and speaking of the sea - all while you have a sea of time... Nothing for a while. How nice would that be?
Are you busy and stressed? When was the last time you did nothing for a while or at least did something that wasn't useful?
If you're reading this, it means you've clicked through and you're ready to rest. Then see this as your sign and take that rest. Do something you shouldn't or just do nothing at all.
Here is a list of things you can do right now to relax. Make sure the kids are wobbly:
- take a long bath, there are few (relatively normal stress) things that can't be solved with a nice bath session
- allow yourself half an hour on the couch with a book or a magazine
- take your dusty tarot cards out of the closet and draw a day ticket
- simply enjoy a good cup of tea or coffee extensively
- take good care of your nails and hands
- Are you tired? Take a 20 minute power nap
- go for a walk in the neighborhood for half an hour
not nothing
