If it still feels too warm for real autumn, but the new season is already itching... then it's time for an Iced caramel coffee shake. If you ask us: the best of both worlds in this case. Still very refreshing, but already full of flavour.

If you're considering making the shake... go all the way and combine it with the Carrot cake to die for ! A perfect match.


The recipe

This easy and delicious recipe comes from Marjolein of Happlify Crew member Koffie kàn . If anyone knows what fun and good things you can do with coffee, it's her. Marjolein and her husband Frederik are coffee experts and roasters with a great passion for deliciously mild coffee and you can taste it!

Ingredients

Number of servings: 1 large glass
Kcal: we don't need to know that
Needed: blender or stick blender

  • 6 coffee ice cubes
  • 180 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce
  • 1 tbsp chocolate sauce
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream

Preparation method

  1. Put the ice cubes, milk, caramel and chocolate sauce together with the ice in the blender and blend until it is a creamy shake.

  2. Pour into a tall glass and finish with the whipped cream.

  3. You can add some caramel sauce on top if you want a real calorie bomb. Enjoy it immediately!

TIP : To make really tasty coffee ice cubes, freeze 6 ristrettos ofMokka Espresso from Koffie Kàn in a freezer ice cube tray.
